coastal BC, Washington State or beyond.
The most popular travel route also
offering endless photo opportunities is aboard the
BC Ferries, connecting
the British Columbia Mainland to Victoria and the rest of Vancouver Island. The
1 ½ hour ferry ride travels through the majestic islands of the Juan De Fuca Straight.
Other ferry options to consider are:
Washington
State ferries, the
Co-Ho from Port Angeles
or the passenger only ferries such as
the Clipper from Seattle,
the Victoria
Express Cruise Ship and the
Victoria/San Juan Cruise Ship.
Breathtaking views await those who
like to travel in style, such as on a harbour plane or with
Helijet. These convenient flight options will have you arriving in downtown
Victoria, direct from downtown Vancouver, in approximately 30 minutes. Air travelers
can also fly into Victoria
International Airport, a half hour drive north
of the “Garden City”. The Airporter Shuttles to hotels, car rentals services and
taxi's are available at the Airport.
